At Atland we are proud of the work we have done with our clients to create positive social impact. Here are some examples of the projects we have worked on:

Save the Children Europe Engagement

Atland delviered for Save the Children Europe a strategic consultancy focused on engaging with the European Investment Bank (EIB). We conducted a comprehensive assessment of Save the Children Europe’s potential, identifying common priorities and effective entry points for collaboration to deliver large-scale projects. Leveraging our expertise in public affairs and microfinance, we led data-driven strategy sessions, workshops, and multi-stakeholder consultations. In parallel, we conducted in-depth research on the EIB’s diverse financial instruments—including impact investments, loans, and guarantees—and integrated these insights into our recommendations. Our targeted advisory and capacity-building efforts positioned Save the Children Europe to effectively harness the EIB’s tools and unlock several million euros in public funding, setting a new benchmark for social investment practices across Europe.

Fundraising plan for the Aarhus Centres - OSCE
The OSCE contracted Atland to enhance the fundraising impact of their Aarhus Centres Network. Using an innovative capacity-building approach, we organized a dedicated workshop that enabled the Centres to fully grasp the value of their work and explore its monetisation potential. Based on our strategic recommendations, the Centres made a critical adjustment in their fundraising strategies, leading to the diversification of income streams and a more robust financial sustainability model. This intervention not only increased operational efficiency and visibility but also provided a replicable model for strategic fundraising in the environmental governance and public participation sectors.
Financial Sustainability Conference 2023

Atland partnered in the organization of the Financial Sustainability Conference 2023 in Brussels at the European Committee of the Regions. Co-organized with Amica and the European Association of Service Providers for Persons with Disabilities (EASPD), the event provided a strategic platform for policymakers, EU institutional representatives, and leading social economy experts. Through targeted keynote speeches, panel discussions, and interactive case study presentations, the conference addressed crucial challenges in fiscal resilience and innovative financial strategies for social innovation. This initiative not only influenced public funding debates and shaped new investment frameworks but also bolstered Atland’s reputation as a thought leader in social finance, fostering strategic networking and future collaborations.

Consortia management and facilitation

Femxa Group approached us to help them increase the number of strong partners for EU-funded projects. Through a combination of rigorous research, partner engagement and strategic partnerships, we were able to help Femxa increase access to EU funding. The project has had a significant positive impact on the skills development of hundreds of people in Spain.

Impact investment in Europe

Purpose Venture Capital partnered with us to explore the potential of impact investing to drive social and environmental change. We worked closely with them to identify promising investment opportunities that aligned with their values, objectives and investment criteria. Together we were able to successfully deliver a number of impact investments that have generated significant social and financial returns.
